My love affair with the drums began at the age of thirteen, and over the better part of a decade I have become an enthusiastic, competent and confident musician. A significant amount of my time is allotted to listening to music, both for recreation and development.

Among my favourite genres are blues, funk and disco, with a special affinity reserved for rock. However, I believe true pleasure in the performance of music is derived from creating a synthesis of sound with other musicians.

As such I think it's important to be malleable in regard to musical style; to be as multifaceted as possible to better accommodate differing groups of musicians.
